Careers Privacy Notice

Last Updated: July 28, 2026

This notice explains how BrandStory processes personal information about job applicants, candidates, interns, contractors and people who express interest in working with us.

Information collected

  • Contact details, location and work-authorisation information.
  • CV, portfolio, education, qualifications, skills and employment history.
  • Application answers, interview notes, assessment results and communications.
  • References and background-check information where lawful, relevant and separately notified.
  • Expected compensation, availability and role preferences.
  • Voluntary equal-opportunity or accommodation information where lawfully collected.

How it is used

We use candidate information to administer recruitment, assess suitability, communicate, arrange interviews, verify information, make and manage offers, meet legal obligations, improve recruitment and protect rights and security.

Recipients and transfers

Information may be available to authorised HR personnel, hiring managers, interviewers, relevant group entities and vetted recruitment, assessment, background-check, communication, cloud or legal providers. International processing and safeguards are described in the Privacy Policy.

Retention

Successful-candidate records become part of the employment or contractor record. Unsuccessful-candidate records are retained for the locally approved recruitment period and then deleted or anonymised, unless you consent to longer talent-pool retention or law requires otherwise.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion, withdraw an application, object to certain processing, or exercise another applicable right by contacting info@brandstory.in. Rights may be limited by law or the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Automated decisions

BrandStory should not state that recruitment decisions are automated unless a verified tool does so. If a tool makes or materially supports a solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects, provide the required specific notice and safeguards.
