Last Updated: July 28, 2026

This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for residents of US states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws. Rights and duties depend on the state, the nature of processing and whether legal thresholds or exemptions apply. This notice does not state that BrandStory is subject to every state privacy law.

2. Sources

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device and website use, from your employer or colleagues, and from service providers or public professional sources where permitted.

3. Sale, sharing and targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. If analytics or advertising technologies are configured in a way that constitutes “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising under an applicable state law, you may opt out through “Your Privacy Choices.” BrandStory must not claim “we do not sell or share” until the deployed tags and vendor contracts have been reviewed.

4. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information.
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling.
  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
  • Appeal a refusal to act on your request, where the law provides that right.
  • Receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

5. How to exercise a right

Use /data-rights-request or email info@brandstory.in. For sale, sharing or targeted-advertising choices, use the “Your Privacy Choices” control. Where legally required, we honour recognised opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

We verify requests in a proportionate way. We may ask for information that reasonably matches our records and may deny or limit a request where permitted. We will explain a denial and any available appeal route.

6. Authorised agents

An authorised agent may submit a request where state law permits. We may request proof of authority and may separately verify the resident's identity or confirmation.

7. Metrics and disclosures

If applicable law requires annual request metrics or additional category-level disclosures, BrandStory will publish them after confirming applicability and maintaining a verified request log.
